Sebastião Salgado:
A master of black-and-white photography, Salgado documents humanity with a compassionate yet unflinching eye. Elliott Erwitt:

Steve McCurry:
Best known for his iconic portrait of Sharbat Gula (an Afghan refugee photographed in Pakistan during the Soviet–Afghan War), McCurry’s work is a mesmerising blend of vivid colour and human emotion. Michael Kenna:

Terry O’Neill:
